Delete an external storage configuration

Deletes a customer-managed external storage configuration. Use external_storage_id to identify the configuration to disconnect. Deleting a project's last configuration restores organization-default retention if customer-managed retention was active; cloud storage is unchanged.

Error handling

A 400 is returned when the organization is not enabled for external storage. A 403 is returned when the authenticated user does not have permission to perform this operation, and a 404 is returned when the organization or external storage was not found. The external_storage_id path parameter must identify the configuration to delete.
