Create an external storage configuration

Creates a customer-managed external storage configuration for a project. Supply project_id and a provider object containing the configuration fields required by the selected storage provider. The response includes the configuration's identifier, geography, and status.

Error handling

project_id and provider are required. The provider object must include the required configuration fields for its selected provider. A 400 is returned when the request is invalid or the organization or project does not support the configuration; a 403 indicates insufficient permission, a 404 indicates that the organization, project, or external storage was not found, and a 503 indicates that registration is temporarily unavailable.
